Magan House

The Magan house is a Colonial-style home built in the 1930s. However, an initial expansion in the 1980s led to the creation of a disjointed interior. The client expressed a desire for a large ground floor with a variety of entertainment zones, with a particular focus on the kitchen and its uninterrupted visual connection to all other spaces. With this in mind, all of the ground floor core elements were re-positioned around the existing hearth at the center of the house, with the living and dining spaces around its perimeter.
