Pixel Facade

Shortlisted for the Metals in Construction magazine’s 2018 design challenge, the Pixel Façade system was designed as an adaptive system that can provide solutions for multiple building typologies.

The system addresses the current shift towards flexible workspace design due to constantly changing needs. Various breakout spaces along the main office cores provide an environment that encourages collaboration. Modular planters, shades and green panels situated along the space allow tenants to benefit from the presence of nature within a high-rise urban structure.

Modules are constructed using efficient and affordable timber frame construction

Corridors along the workspaces act as circulation and breakout space

The facade is screened with planting to provide shade

Each screen can be opened to allow for light and views
